Ya, it's a McDonald's, but a pretty nice one. Clean, really cool wall paper and lighting, big flat screens and very nice seating areas (not that I've ever stayed in to eat). This MickyDs is probably one of the only ones I go to. Why? Because it is smack dab in the middle(ish) of the journey between Edmonton and Jasper. And it is right at that mark when I know... I am not going to "make it"; that we have to stop so I can you the loo! It is right on the highway, where the West and East bound Yellowhead splits, in the middle of them and has easy access from both sides of the highway. So inevitably, I use there 'facility' on both the trip up and the trip home! They usually have pretty good staff, they know they are highly trafficked for one reason (maybe 2, lol) so you are in and out quick and back on the road!

Both our burgers were not even close to what we ordered and it took a long time - for a McDonald's- to get the order.

This McDonalds gets my order wrong 50% of the time !!! Egg mcmuffin 3 times with no egg !!! Really . They also randomly close both drive thru lanes ... no staff or supervisor on duty? Burger is usually not fresh its dry and not hot !!! Huge onion chunks in burger , not properly chopped .

If I could put a zero star I would. Coming here for the last week while working in town, not a single day my order was completed right. The Morning staff are horrible, they are rude, swearing and over charge when they forget to put items that you ordered in your order.

A nicely renovated location of the mega fast food chain. Was especially impressed with the restroom facilities. However, I found myself slightly disappointed I was not greeted with the friendly smiling faces I am used to seeing at most McDonalds locations. Granted, the young man working the till was probably none too pleased about working at 6 AM on a saturday after a night of underage drinking in Edson. He also may have just been a new, shy employee. Nevertheless, I received my burritos and hashbrowns in 0 seconds flat, and was pleased that the phenomenal hashbrown standard was upheld. Tell that kid to throw on a smile and its 5 stars everytime!!
